I’m Malcolm Faulkner, and fitness has always been my passion and priority. For decades, I’ve been practicing yoga, cycling, lifting weights, and—at 60—stepping on stage for my first men’s physique competition.

Then came the near-impossible diagnosis.
In 2023, despite having no major risk factors—no family history, no smoking, no known genetic risk factors, and an overall extremely healthy lifestyle—I was diagnosed with high-risk prostate cancer. The fittest person most people knew… had cancer.
Fitness Isn’t Just About Looking Good—It’s About Being Prepared
Fitness isn’t just about looking and feeling great. It’s also about prevention—and when the unexpected happens, being in the best shape possible to fight back.
It was a real gut punch—something that could have broken me. But I refused to let it. With faith, resolve, and a refusal to give in, I laid the foundation for my healing.
I went through aggressive treatment, grueling recovery, and a battle that tested me in ways I never expected. Through it all, my fitness helped me endure, heal, and rebuild.
